Spider

Build complete King-to-Ace sequences and clear all eight sets.

How to Play

Goal

Move every card onto the four foundation piles, building each suit from Ace through King.

Board

Seven tableau columns are dealt, with only the top card of each column face-up. The remaining cards form the stock.

Moving cards

Build the tableau downward while alternating red and black. Sequences can move together when they are already a legal alternating run.

Special rules

Empty columns accept only a King, or a sequence that begins with a King. Draw from the stock when the tableau stalls. Foundations build upward by suit: Ace → King.

Winning

The game is won when all four foundations contain a complete suit.

Tips

  • Prioritise moves that expose face-down cards.
  • Empty a column only when you have a King ready to use it.
  • Do not rush every card to the foundation if it still helps in the tableau.
  • In Draw 3, plan around the visible waste card before cycling the stock.
  • Undo is unlimited on the current deal — use it to test a line.
